Full Moon Paddle
The magic of Tomales Bay is never more evident than at the close of the day. Osprey and pelicans are out for one last catch, seals head for a sheltered beach, and the business of the day fades into a peaceful, gentle rhythm.
Sunsets on Tomales Bay are always breathtaking, and if we’re lucky, we will spot some wildlife before nightfall. The full moon itself is the star of the show; illuminating the bay for a truly magical experience. The remote location of the bay means that we have an incredible view of the stars. Often the Milky Way is visible, stretching from horizon to horizon.
And don’t worry about the weather spoiling the experience! The bioluminescence will be visible instead of the stars on cloudy days.
Time: 3 hours midweek, 4 hours on Saturdays and Sundays. Start times vary according to the season and moonrise time.
Price: $89 per person
Location: Miller Boat Ramp/Nick’s Cove, Tomales Bay – See Directions
*Minimum age/weight for our night-time trips is 12yrs/90lbs.
